Don’t Let Thanksgiving Ruin Your CoolSculpting Results

CoolSculpting® Davenport and Iowa City, IAThe last thing anybody wants after they get CoolSculpting from Medical Aesthetics and Wellness is to gain the weight back. And although CoolSculpting can do wonders in the body sculpting department, patients still need to exercise and watch what they eat in order to maintain their results. To make sure that your Thanksgiving dinner doesn’t throw you over the edge and make you gain back weight, we have listed a few tips that will hopefully help you.

Do a Turkey Trot

Turkey trots are a great way to burn some extra calories before the big feast with family and friends. Look into doing a local turkey trot in your area so that you don’t have to worry so much about eating a piece of pie after dinner.

Don’t Go Overboard

One thing that a lot of us do on Thanksgiving is we load our plates up to the brim the first time around and then go back for seconds or even thirds. To avoid gaining any weight this Thanksgiving, do some portion control and watch what you eat. As a helpful tip, try putting small portions of food on your plate the first time around, and they don’t go back for more; you may be surprised at how full you feel after some small helpings of food.

Eat More Turkey

If you are starving and don’t feel satisfied with small helpings of food, then there’s one low-calorie food that’s high in lean protein that you can eat:  turkey. Just make sure that you don’t add gravy or cranberry sauce to it and that you eat as much white meat as possible.

Thanksgiving is one of the most fun holidays of the year, and it’s one that everyone should enjoy. Rather than stressing about gaining weight during thanksgiving after your CoolSculpting results, use the tips in this article.
